The CQA (COMPETENT QUALITY AFFORDABLE) Review Center was established in June 2014 at Homitori Bangoy, Davao City. It was founded by Social Workers, driven by their commitment to support and guide social work graduates in preparing for the licensure exam to become registered social workers. Their goal was to provide high-quality review programs that would equip graduates with the knowledge and skills necessary for success in their professional careers.

One of the initial challenges faced by CQA was the high cost of renting a venue, which made it difficult to maintain operations. Additionally, gathering and preparing review materials presented significant hurdles in the early stages of the center's development. Despite these obstacles, CQA remained committed to its mission of delivering a comprehensive review experience and supporting the social work community.

Through their dedication and perseverance, the founders of CQA laid the foundation for a reputable review center, known for its quality instruction and its role in shaping future social work professionals.
